This week I have decided to do something different considering that is going on in the world with Covid19. I hope you are staying safe! It is a difficult to travel and what with quarantines in place, it may start to feel a little like cabin fever! With travel restrictions in place, why not reminisce about past places. One of my favourite places is Parc Samà in Cambrils - Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain (https://parcsama.es/parc-sama-eng/.) It is a beautiful stately home that is surrounded by a paradise garden and has its very own wine distillery. That got me thinking – home made wine! What better way to feel productive and use up old fruit. Parc Samà:

What you will need: Muslin cloth for straining, Demijohn and an airlock. You will need bottles - lots of bottles. Ask friends, family or colleagues if they have any spare but dont worry, you have plenty of time to gather them. A demijohn of this size will produce around 5-6 bottles of wine.

The recipe:

And there you have it! A simple recipe that results in lots of bottles of wine! Let me know in the comments section if you have ever distilled anything or made preservatives!

About Me

I have been to many places, from Australia to Israel and have experienced many things. I love sharing my experiences and the idea for this blog came from a friend of mine who recently went to Amsterdam and wanted some tips/ places to visit, as I have been to most of the places listed here many times I was more than happy to oblige!
